COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will prepare students to:

  • Check patients in and out upon arrival and departure 
  • Answer phone calls and questions
  • Assist providers with exams and procedures
  • Administer injections 
  • Work in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Perform EKG, phlebotomy and laboratory procedures
  • Take patient vital signs

Class meets every Thursday for 6 months or every other Saturday for 6 months,

Morning 10:00am - 1:00pm

Evening 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Saturday 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Students must be 18 years of age

High school or college Transcrips *non-official*  ( we can NOT except the GED or Diploma)
 
Social Security Card 
 
*MUST HAVE ALL ITEMS BY THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS*

 The registration fee of $200.00 is  non-refundableThe remaining $3,800 can be set up on a payment plan which MUST be completed during orientation (first class day) Please review the payment plan guiedlines under the "Resources Tab" prior to registration! We except, money orders and Credit or Debit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

Limited Seating & Registration:

 A deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve a seat in the class. If a student elects not to attend the course the deposit is non-refundable   

This fee includes:
Basic life support (BLS) through the American Heart Association, a uniform shirt, National Certification Exam through National Healthcare Association (NHA) plus 24/7 access to the online study guide  to get you prepared for the National Exam. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will prepare students to:

  • Draw blood from patients and blood donors
  • Evaluate patients ability to understand the procedure
  • Explain blood-drawing procedure to patients and answer questions 
  • Perform basic point of care testing, such as blood glucose level
  • Prepare blood, urine and other specimens for testing
  • Verify patient/donor identity
  • Maintain medical equipment such as needles, test tubes and blood vials 

Class meets every Tuesday for 8 weeks or every other Saturday for 8 weeks.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

  • Learn the different signs of choking as well as the different ways of responding.
  • Proper position for a victim 
  • What the symptoms are for cardiac arrest

Course Description

This course will prepare students to:

  • Learn the basic anatomy of the vein
  • Learn the basic treatment of complications
  • Describe and demonstrate the proper techniques and documintation for inserting and removing a peripheral IV or heparin lock
  • Learn common complications of IV, and their associated signs and symtoms 
  • Hands-on practice

This class is for certified phlebotomist, medical assistants, RNs, LPNs, dental assistants, estheticians, CNAs or anyone in the medical field looking to add on to their current Certifications.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This fast pace course will cover basic phlebotomy techniques. Each student will learn the anatomy & physiology, pre-analytical complications, veinpuncture, capillary blood draw, order of draw and much more!

The non-refundable registration fee of $300 is required to reserve a seat in the class. The remaining $400 is due on the first day of class. If you are unable to attend the original workshop date you signed up for, you can reschedule (1) once for another class. If you no-show a second time, you will be rquired to pay another registration fee of $300.
